ABOUT THE COURSE

This course provides the aspiring journeyman electrician necessary foundation for learning all aspects of the examination of journeyman electrician license in correspondence with the National Electrical Code (NEC) in force, allowing escalating into a recognized category in the electrical activity. The course review the articles of NEC and methodology of calculation according to the exam set by the Construction Trades Qualifying Board for the city/county in which you summit the application.

Pre-requisites

Three years of documented experience performing electrical work, with up to one and one-half (1 ½) years of the experience coming from education.

Objective

To prepare our students for the open book Journeyman Electrician exam by reviewing general theoretical and applied concepts with the intent of taking and passing the exam. At the end of the 64 hours, each student should successfully complete the exam administered by the county.
