ABOUT THE COURSE
Topics covered in the 80 hours preparation course include refrigeration, ductworks, pipe systems, building codes and related content, as well as several practice tests for training purposes. As important part of the preparation for the open book exam, are offered detailed instructions on how to find answers within the books and for preparing the reference materials allowed to use during the test.
Pre-requisites
Participants must have at least three (3) years of field experience in the trade, or education equivalent thereto, or a combination of the two, but not more than one-half (1/2) of such experience may be education equivalent.

Objective
To prepare our students for the Journeyman Air Conditioning test by explaining general mechanical concepts, regulations and Florida Building Codes.
At the end of the course, each student should successfully complete the 75 questions open book exam administered by the county board.
