ABOUT THE COURSE
Healthcare professionals will receive a comprehensive review of foundational HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) topics, including terminology, the audit compliance process, a review of data tools and resources which employers and individuals use to measure the quality of health plans existing in the market
SEMINAR OBJECTIVE:
To prepare the participants with the knowledge and skills to properly implement the 2021 HEDIS measures and domains in order to improve patient care quality outcomes and capture missing revenues for physicians and healthcare organizations.
SEMINAR RIQUIREMENT:
Directed to health care professionals (RN, LPN, Medical Coders, HIM professionals, Medical Assistants, Reimbursement & Insurance specialists, etc.) with an adequate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pathophysiology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes, Managed Care and Medical Insurance.
